That where. s, tne city engineer has prepared and filed in the office of
the city clerk, a plat , schedule an:, report , snowing tne ac_ount of cost of
improvement to he assessed a.crainst each lot or parcel of ground on the por-
tions of the street ahown by said plats, schedules an reports ordered im-
proved by this council, to-wit :
Constructing pavinp. on Mullen avenue from the southwesterly line of
Sveamore street to tne northeasterly curb lire of Commercial street.
Kimball avenue from the south line of 7.eber avenue to the north line of
Third avenue.
Reber avenue from the west line of Sulliv:m avenue to line eat line of Moir
street.
East Eighth street from tne sou6n7esterly line of Franklin steeet to the
northeasterly line of Water street.
East ninth street from tne southwesterly line of Franklin street to the north
easterly line of -'ater street.
East Tenth street from ';ater street to the southwesterly line of Sycamore

Commercial street from the northvesterly line of Twelfth street to the ilorth-
westerli line of Tourteenth street.
West Eigr'th si,reet from the southwesterly line of Washincton street to the
northeasterly line of South street.

Arizone street from the southerly line of Vine street to tele northerly line

Lane street from the northerly line of Independence avenue to the southerly
line of Glenwood street.

Sunnyside avenue from the southerly line of Leland a7enue to the northweste47

Randall street from the easterly line of Sunnyside avenue to the easterly curb
line of Virden street, in the city of 7aterldio, Iowa , toether with the necess4ry
intersections on said described streets where not already paved.
Whereas , tne city has caused due notice of the special asses-ment for the
cost of said im-erovements to be published as provided by I w, and
Whereas , the city council has inspected the aforesaid plat, sene ,ule and re
port as flied by the city enrineer, and nas 'Inspected each lot or parcel of
c:rround abutting and adjacent to said streets, and
Thereas, the city council finds in every instance the amount set forth in
said 1,1Qts , sch_dules and reverts as a9sessed against each lot or 1A,reel of
ground abuitinr and adjacent to said streets so inIrroved, is in proportion to
the special benefits conferred on said property by reason of said street improvle-
merits as. r, f)..777n by the schedule hereto annexed and made a part hereof and in no
instance does the city council fin(' the amount in excess of said benefits as
shown by said schedule and finds that the assessment does not exceed 25% of thq
value of any of said property at the time of this levy, and
