RESOLUTION

BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that whereas; E. Leckington has completed the work
of constructing cement sidewalk in front of lot 6 Block
Hayes Addition SE Bide of Fourteenth Street, and
WHEREAS the owners of said lot did on the 10th day
of August 1915 , petition for said work and sign an waiver
and agreement waiving all peliminary resolutions , notices or
other proceedings required by law, peliminary to and in
connection with the doing of said work, and agreeing that
the cost theeof should be assessed against the abutting
property as required by law , and that when so assessed
the waiver on assessment certificate would be signed by
them. now therefore,
BE IT resolved by the City Council of the City of Zaterloc ,
Iowa that the work of constructing said sidewalk in front
of said described property be and the same is hereby
accepted , and that the cost thereof is he_ eby assessed
against the abutting lot as required by law, and in accordan
ce with the petition , waiver and agreement of the owners
of said property, and as shown by the plat, schedule and
report of the City Engineer now on file in the office of
the City Clerk, showing the cost and amount to be
assessed against said described lot .
Be it further resolved that the Mayor and City Clerk be -
and theyeare hereby directed to issue sidewalk certificates
to said E. Leckington, in accordance with the plat and schedije
to pay the cost of s aid improvement.
