Be it resolved by the city council of the city of Waterloo, Iowa:
That whereas, Zook & Bentz, have completed the work of constructing
sewer on Columbia street fro : Park Road to Crescent Place; Crescent Place
from Columbia street to Williams street in the city of T_terloo, Iowa, and
Whereas the owners of all Iota abutting said described streets did
on the 22d day of November, L.15, petition for said work and signed a
we.ived and agreement waiving all preliminary resolutions, notices or
other procaelings provi _ed by law, preliminary to and in connection with
the „i.oin of said cork, &nd agreeing that the cost thereof should be
assessed to the abutting property as provided by law, and that when
so asseesed the waivers on the assessment certificates would be sizd
by the , now, therefore
Be it resolved by the city council of the city of Waterloo, Iowa,
that the work of constfuoting said sewer on said described streets be and
the same are hereby accepted and that the cost thereof is hereby assessed
against the lots abutting said street as provided oy law and in accordance
with the petition, waiver and agreement of the (mere of said property and
as shown by the plat, and schedule of the city engineer now on file in
the office of the city clerk, showing the cost and amount to be assessed
against each lot or parcel of ground abuttinr said described streets.
Be it further resolved that the mayor -lad city clerk be and they
are herby authorized and directed to issue sewer certificates to the
said Zook & Bentz, in accordance with the said plat and schedule to pay
the cost of said improvement.
