Be it resolved by the city council of the city of Waterloo, Iowa:
That whereas, the city en:Aneer, has prepared and filed in the office of
the city clerk, a aplat, schedule and report showing the amount of cost of
improvement to be assessed against each lot or parcel of drouni on the portions
of the streets as shown by said plat, schedule and report ordered improved by
this council* to-wit:
Constructing cement sidewalks as follows:

Whereas the city has caused due notice of the assessment for the coat of said
improvements to be published as provided by law, and whereas the city council has
inspected the agOresaid plat, schedule and report as filed by the city engineer,
and has inspected each lot or parcel of ground fronting said streets, and
Whereas, the city council finds in every instance the amount set forth in said
plat, schedule and report as assessed againsteach lot or parcel of ground fronting
and abuttinz said streets so improved, is in proportion to the benefits conferred
on said property by reason of said street improvements as shown in the schedule
hereto annexed and made a part hereof and in no instance does the city council
find the amount in excess of said bnefits as shown by said schedule and finds
that the asqessment does not exceed 25% of the value of any of said property at
the time of this levy, 7.nd
Whereas, no objections have been made to said assessment by the owners of any
of said property, now* therefore
Be it resolved by the city council of the city of Waterloo, Iowa, that there be
and there is hereby assessed and levied ag inst the respective lots and parcels of
ground abutting said described streets, as shown by said plat and schedule hereto
annexed and made a part hereof the amount set opposite each lot or parcel of
ground as shown by said plat, sohedule 9.nd report sa said above deeoribed streets.
