That whereas, the Dearborn Construction Co., IvI,ve completed the work
of constructing sewer on Alley between Svmner and Webster streets and Alley
between Webster and Newell streets in Rosehill tat AdAtion in the city of
Waterloo, Iowa, and
Whereas the owners of all lots abutting said described streets did on
the I4th day of June, 1915, petition fOr said work and signed a waiver and
agreement waiving ail preliminary resolutions, notices or other proceedings
provided by law, preliminary to %nd in connection with the doing of said work
and agreeing that the cost thereof should be assessed to the abutting property
as provided by law, and that when so assessed the waivers on the assessment
certificates would be sined by them, now, therefore
Be it feeolve by the city council of the city of Waterloo, 1ow , that the
work of constructing said sewer on saiddescribed streets be and the same are
hereby accepted and that the cost thereof is hereby assessed against the lots
abutting said street as provided by law and in accordance with the petition,
waiver and areement of the owners of said property and as shown by the plat
and schedule of the city engineer now on file in the office of the city clerk,
sheling the cost and amount to be assessed against each lot or parcel of
ground abutting said described streets.
Be it further resolved that the mayor and city clerk be and they are hereby
authorized and directed to issue sewer certificates to the said Dearborn Con—
struction CO. , in accordance with the said plat and schedule to pay the cost
of said improvement.
