RESOLUTION NO. 2013-397
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF REGINA COFFER
FOR A VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE NO. 3094, NOISE
ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, Regina Coffer is requesting a variance to the Noise
Ordinance on June 8, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., in
conjunction with a birthday party event to be held at Byrnes
Park, to include a band/DJ and the use of a PA system, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Ordinance
No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, said Regina Coffer has made formal application for
a variance effective June 8, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.,
together with recommendation and approval of the Director of
Safety Services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Regina Coffer for a variance
to Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, on June 8, 2013 from 3:00
p.m. to 8:00 p.m., in conjunction with a birthday party event to
be held at Byrnes Park, to include a band/DJ and the use of a PA
system, be and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of May, 2013.
