Be it further resolved, that the city clerk be and he is hereby directed to
advertise for bids and prbposals for the doing of said work in accordance with
Section No 813 of the Code and the date of o.oening said bids and proposals to

That said improvements shall be paid for when the k is completed and
accepted by the city council of the city of Waterloo, owa, by certificates
isued to the contractor against all the lots and parcels of land according
to area in proportion to the benefits thereto and withon one-half block or not
exceeding 300 feet• of the street improvement and cost of paving street and
alley intersections to -be assessed in accordance with the laws ordinances,
and resolutions of this Council governing sane.
The city expressly reserves the right to stop the work for the purpose of
putting in public service pipes on any 0.17 :1,7.dd streets, in which event the tine
will be extended for the completion of skid work.
