BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the city
• of Waterloo , Iowa, that
WHEREAS , it is deemed advisable to dispose of the
present City Hall property and to establish a City Hall and.
Municipal Headquarters upon the building now occupied by the
Waterloo Water Works at the corner of East 3rd and. Sycamore
Streets,
laWaLSORE BE IT RESUVED that the City Engineer
be and is hereby directed to prepare and submit to this Coun-
cil at its next regular meeting an estimate as to the probable
cost of completing the construction of a first wad second
story upon the Waterloo Water Works Building locc,ted as above
de6cribed, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Committee on
olice and l'ublic Buildings be and they are hereby di.:ected
to ascertain as nearly as may ue the present market value of
the City Hall property on Lafayette Street, and be prepared
to advise this Council with reference thereto at its next
regular meeting.
