BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the city
of Waterloo , Iowa, that
WHEREAS, the title to the ground covered by the
boulevards upon certain streets in the city of Waterloo, Iowa,
is in said City, and it is deemed advisable to improve the
same slreft-7TIr by the setting out of flowers and plants there-
in,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that such/ ex 974.97', 1 „0/7

as my be reasonably and necessarily incurred ' in
the purchase of flowers and plants for said boulevards shall
be paid by the City of Waterloo , Iowa, out of its street
funds , providing that the Park Commission shall Jay the ex-
pense of setting out and caring for said flowers and plants.
