HomeMy WebLinkAbout3940 Be it resolved by the city council of the city of Waterloo, Iowa:
That the bid of the Bryant Asphalt Paving Company, tb6eived, opened
and read on the 10th day of July, 1916, for the construction of paving
on portions of Sycamore, East Fifth, East Park, Lane, Lafayette, West Fifth
and various other streets in the city of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is
hereby accepted. East Fifth street from the southwesterly line of Lafayette
street to the northeasterly end of paving on East 5th street bridge and
Sycamore street from the northwesterly line of the intersection of East 5th
street to the southeasterly line of the intersection of East 4th streets to
be paved with creosoted wood blocks according to specifications and all of the
balance of the paving described in said contract to be paved with sheet asphalt
as per specifications therefor in said contract.
Be it further resolved that the city attorney be and he is hereby
directed to prepare contracts for the doing of said work and the mayor and
city clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute the same in behalf
of the city.
