Be it resolved,by the city council of
the city of Waterloo,Iowa,that the ad-
visability and necessity of constructing
certain sewers along the following de-
scribed streets in the city of Waterloo,
Iowa, is hereby declared and Fletcher avenue from Third streets of
Reber avenue to be 12 inches in diame-1
Reber avenue from Fletcher to Euclid)
avenues to be 10 inches in diameter. i
Kern street from Burton to Avon ave-
nues to be 10 inches in diameter.
Archer avenue from Nevada street
Ito State street to be 10 inches in diem-;
eter.
Said sewers to be constructed of

I be laid in conformity with existing,

by the plans and specifications for said
work. All of said work is to be done in
accordance with the plans and speci-
fications therefor to be prepared by the
city engineer of said city and filed in
the office of the city clerk of said city.
The cost of constructing said sewers
shalt be paid when the work is corn-j •
pleted and accepted by the city council
by sewer certificates issued to the., ,
con-
tractor against property abutting on,
such sewer in proportion to the number t
of lineal front feet of each parcel there-
of, which certificates shall be accepted
1 by the contractor in full payment for
said work.
The contractor is to be required to'
give bond to the city of Waterloo,Iowa,
in the sum of one-third of the cost of
said sewers with approved surety or
sureties as a guaranty that he will pro-
perly construct and carry out said work
and faithfully perform all the terms and
conditions of his contract. Said sewers
are ordered upon motion of the city
council without petition therefor.
