Be it resolved by the city council of the city of Waterloo, Iowa:
That whereas, the city council has this day ordered the construction of
sewersalong the following described streets in the city of Waterloo, Iowa,
by Reso. lb-2)C1r4-
Fletcher avenue from Third street to Reber avenue to be 12 inches in diametE
Reber avenue from Fletcher tc Euclid avenues to be 10 inches in diameter.
Kern atreet from Burton to Avon avenues to be 10 inches in diameter.
Archer avenue frolp Nevada street to State atreet to be 10 inches in diametel
Be it further resolved that the city clerkce and he is hereby directed
to advertise for bids and proposals for the doing of said work in accord-
ance with Section813 of the Code. The date for opening said bids and pro-
,
posals tr be on the ---,h ) 1918, at 7:30 o'clock
p.m. That said improvement s all be paid for when the work is completed
and accepted by the city council by sewer certificates issued to the
contractor against property abutting on such sewers in proportion to the
number of lineal front feet of each parcel thereof which certificates shall
be accepted by the contractor in full payment for said work—Said work is
tc be done in accordance with the plans and opecifications therefor prepared
by the city engineer, approved by the cite council and now on file in the
office of the city clerk.
