Be It. Resolved By The City Council Of The City Of Waterlca,Iowa:-
Whereas,it. is deemed necessary and advisable for the purpose
of opening Lincoln Street from Riehl Street to Dawson Street ac-

cording to the attached hereto and whereas certain propertyi

ilt owners have agreed to open said street,the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby directed to enter into certain contracts for the pur-
pose of conveying tc the city the hereinafter described real este, ; - ,
_____ town All of Lot 9,in Block II,with the exception of the he Easter-
1 ly Thirty-five(35) feet thereof,in East Park Place,Waterlo o,Iowa,
owned by Hope C.Martin; also all of Lot 6,in Block I, except the
Westerly Fifty(50)feet,owned by Lottie M.Bentley.
Said contracts with the above named individuals to be entere•
€ , into with the passage of this resolution and to be filed in the
office of the City Clerk.
Be it further resolved that the Illinois Central Railroad
Company is hereby ordered and directed to open a crossing on
Lincoln Street in the City of Waterloo,Iowa,where the street as
proposed in this resolution crosses the right-of-way of said
company.
Be it further resolved that the City Clerk be and he is here
by directed to cause a notice to be served on said Company of the
passage of this resolution.
