Be it resolved, by the city council or
the city of Waterloo, Iowa, that the ad-
visability and necessity of constructing
certain sewers along the following de-
scribed streets in the city of Waterloo,
Iowa, is hereby declared and directed:
On Smith street from Lane street to
Cherry street, to be 10 inches in diam.

isting grades where already established

The cost of constructing said sewers
shall be paid when the work is eom-
pletad and accepted by the city council
by sewer certificates issued to the cor

thereof, which certificates shall be ac-
cepted by the contractor in full payment

The contractor is to be required to
give bond to the city of Waterloo, Iowa,
in the sum of one-third of the cost of
.said sewers with approved surety or
sureties as a guaranty that he will
properly construct and carry out said
work and faithfully perform all of the
terms and conditions of his contract.
Said sewers are ordered upon motion of the city council without petition
therefor.
