Be ' it resolved by the city council of the city of Waterloo, Iowa:
That whereas, the city council has this day ordered the construction of
sewers along the following described streets in the city of Waterloo, Iowa,
by Reso. # 36\41 (9
On Smith street from Lane street to Cherry street to be 10 inches in diameter

diameter.
Be it further resolved that the city clerk be and he is hereby directed
to advertise for bids and proposals for the doing of said work in accordance
with Section 813 of the ode. The date for opening said bids and proposals
to be on the N , 1916, at 7:30 o'clock p.m.
That said improvement shall be paid for when the work is completed and
accepted by the city council by sewer certificates issed to the contractor
against property abutting on such sewers in proportion to the number of
lineal front feet of each parcel thereof which certificates shall be
accepted by the contractor in full payment for said work. Said work is
to be done in accordance with the plans and specifications therefore
prepared by the city .engineer, approved by the city council and now on
file in the office of the city dlerk.
