Be it resolved Joy the city council of the city of Waterloo, Iowa!
That the bid of the Moore—Seig Construction Company, this day4ttreessnid,
opened and read for the construction of paving between the rails and one foot
07sutside thereof on various intersections of the Chicago Great Western Ray. Co.,
the Illinois Central. Ry. Co. , the Chicago Rock Island & Pacific R . Co. and
the Waterloo, Cedar galls & Northern Ry. Co. , in the city of Waterloo, Iowa,
be and the same is hereby rejected as to the followinR crossings enumerated

Iowa street betweei Cottage and Chestnut streets; Eat Mullan avenue from the
northeasterly rail of said tracks to one foot outside of the southwesterly rail
of said tracks; Sycamore strees between Union and. McLean streets; Lafayette street
between Lane and Elm streets; Fowler street between Mobile and. Vinton streets;
Mulbery street between East Sixth and. East Seventh streets; Lafayette between
East Sixth and East Seventh streets; Comisercial street between West Sixth and
West Seventh streets; Jefferson street between West Sixth and West Seventh
streets; Intersectioncof West Third and. Bluff streets, also between Bluff street
and. Washington street; Fails avenue between Belmont and Rapid street; West
Eleventh and Bluff streets; Comme_ cial between Thompson and the intersection
of Cosmeroial and. Miles strdets; Reihl street between Avon and Ashland avenues;
Center street at the intersection of Center and I. C. Railway Belt line;
Logan avenue between Esther and. Arlington streets; East 4th street between
Esther and Arlington streets; now, therefore
Be it further resolved that the City Clerk is hereby directed to re—
advertidie for be construction of said named crossings in conformity with
the plans and specifications heretofore adopted, said proposals to be received
and considered at 7:30 o'clock P.M. on June 11 , 1917.
