Be it resolved, by the city council of the city of Waterlco, Iowa:
That the work of the Bryant Asphalt Paving Company on their contract
of July 20, 1916, for the work of constructing pavement on Szcamore street
fro— the southeasterly line of East Sixth street to the northweSterly line
of Park avenue; East Fifth street fro the southwesterl: line of Lafayette
street to the east end of Fifth street bridge; East Park avenue fro_ the
scuth ;esterly line of Sycamore street to the tracks of the Illinois Central
Railway 0o. ( Lane street fro the northerly line of Fowler street to the
southerly line of Independence avenue;/Cafayette st2 et from the north
westerly line of Oak avenue to the southeasterly end of the Illinois Central
1.3ele line traisks; 4est Fifth street fro the south esterly line of Commercial
street to Bluff street; Jefferson street fro_ the northwesterly line of I7est
Fifth street to the southeasterly line of Park avenue; West Hullan avenue
from the southwesterly curb line of Coleerciiti street to the northeasterly
line of Jefferson street, in the city of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is
hereby accepted.
Be it further resolved that the City Clerk be and he is hereby directed
to publish and post notices as required by law that the plat, schedule and ----
report have been filed by the City Engineer as required by law, showing the
cost of constructing said improvements on the streets as set forth in said
contract showing the cost and expense to be assessed against each lot or
parcel of ground abutting and adjacent to said described streets. Said
notice to be published in the Waterloo Daily Courier and Reporter and the
Waterloo Times Tribune.
