That whereae, the city en:;ineer has prepared and filed in the office of
the city clerk e, plat, pohedule and report shoeing the amount of cost of
leLproveeent to lee asseesed against each lot or parcel oZ ground on the
portions of the streets shown by said plate , schedules and reports ordered
improved by this counoil, towit
Constructing paving on Sycamore street from the eoutheestrly line of Est
Sixth street to the northwesterly line of Park Ivenue.
East Fifth street from the southesterly line of Lafayette street to the
east end oe Fifth etreet brile;e.
st Park avenue fro : the eouthisesterly line of Sycanore street to the
tracks of the Illinois CentrR1 Railway Corrpany.
Lane street froir the northerly line of Fowler street to th southerly line
of Independence avenue.
Lafayette street fro the northwesterly line of Oak avenue te the southeaster-
ly end of the Illinois Central Melt line tracks.
West Fifth stet fro the eouthweeterli line of Comweroiel street to Bluff
street ,
Jeffeeon street from the northwesterly line of 7et Fifth street to the
southaeteely line of Park avenue.
West 1ulIan avenue from the southeesterle curb line of Coe-eraied street to
the northeasterly line of Jefferson street in the city of Teterloo, Iowa,
together with the necessary intersections on said abOyedescribed streets
where not already paved,
Whereees , the city has causeJ due notice of the special assessment for the
cost of said improvements to be published as provided by law, and
W areas, the city Council has inspected the aforesaid plat, schedule eeal re-
port as file:1 by the city eniz,ineer, and has inspected each lot or parcel of
rounl abutting and adjacent to said streets, and
Whereas, the city council finds in every instance the amount set forth in
sAdplats, schedules and reports as assessed against each lot or parcel of
Jrcund abutting and adjacent to said streets so improved, is in proportion to
the special benefits conferred on said properey by reason of fy11.d street

1ed in no instance does the city council find, the e,eount in excess of said
benefits as shown by sail schedule and finds that the assessment does not
exeeed 25% of the value 1144IVA of said property at the time of this levy, and

Whereas, no objectcno hwe been made to sFild assessment by any of the
property owners on the said described streets, now, therefore
Be it rsolved by th city council of the city of Waterloo, Iowa, that
there be F.rld there is hereby asse3sed and levied against the r. spective lots
and parcels of ground abutting and adjacent to said described strets„ as
shown by aid plats and sr.thedules hereto annexed and made a pat hereof the
amount set 0,..-posite each lot or parcel of ground as shown by said plats,
schedules and reports on eald described streets,
