Now, therefore, be it resolved by the city council, that the city clerk be
and he is hereby directed to advertise for bids and proposals for the doin,7 of
said work in accordance with Section No . 813 of the Code . The date for opening
said bids and 1.r000sals to be on the day of ,1917
at 7:33 o' clock p.m. That said imI)rovements shall be .2aid for when the work is
completed and accepted by the city council by the issuance of bonds to the
contractor for the amount thereof against a fund to be derived from a tax to
be ivied under Sections 779 and 841 of the Code, as amended by Chapter 30 of
the acts and resolutions of the 30th General Assembly. The right is reserved
by the city to deduct from said list any of said walks before the contract is
let for the construction thereof. The city also reserves the right to r;ject
any and all bids .
