Be It Resolved by the City Council of the City of ' aterloo, Iowa
That whereas,it is proposed to vacate a portion of Conger
street described as follows;towit_:.-
Coal.encing at the southwest cornerB.._.,

street , which point is also the northeast corner of lot 2, block 3,
j a,r+side addition; thence north ten (10) feet; thence westerly and,
aret1lel with the i,resent south line of Conger street to the east-
erly line of Cesar River Park addition; thence so;�th ,lesterl T

straight line to a point on the present southerly line of Conger r
street, which is forty two and one tenth (42.1) feet south of the
southwest corner of lot 1 , block 31, Cedar River Park addition,
and fifty ( 50) feet distant fro-L the :resent northerly line of
___z_ _ Conper street; thence easterly along the southerly line of Ccn,,er
strait to t iee Mace of beginning, except that part o1--t. a ove. — -- —
described tract lying between the east and west lines of Oakland
avenues all in the city of -aterlco, Iowa.
Now,therefore,be it r-esol ed by the city council zne uitiy
of Waterloo,Iowa,that the city clerk be and he is hereby directed
to cause to be published in the official papers of the city,a
notice,as required by the ordinances of said city,of hearing as
to whether said. portion of said street shall be vacated or not,
and requiring all persons interested therein to appear before
said city council and show cause, if any they have,why said street
or portion thereof above named should not be vacated.
Said hearing on the vacation of said portion of said street
is fixed at the council chambers in the City Hall at 7:3C o'clock
P.M.,on the 1 - _day of )1917.
