Whereas, it has been the usual custom of the city of Waterloo, to
assist the Grand Army of Republic and the Woman's Relief Corp. and other
patriotic orders in a financial way to defray the a apense incurred in
the commemorating of Memorial Day, now, therefor
Be it resolved that the Mayor and City Clerk be and they are hereby
authorized and directed to issue warrant on the General fund in the sum
of $50.00 in favor of the Grand Army of Republic and the Woman's Relief
Corp. for the purpose as stated above.
