Be it resolved by the City Council of
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, that the ad-
visability and necessity of constructing
certain sewers along the following de-,
scribed streets in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, is hereby declared and directed:—
Blackhawk Road from center line to
southwest line of Falls avenue to, be
15 inches in diameter.
Beck avenue from Manhard street to
Duryea street to be 10 inches in dia-
meter.

Sullivan avenue from Baltimore street
to Elmwood avenue to be 12 inches in
diameter.
Sunset Road from Prospect Boulevard

meter, from Clarissa street to Byrnes
Drive to be 10 inches in diameter.
Williston avenue from Sullivan ave-
nue to Kimball avenue to be 10 inches
in diameter.
Williston avenue from Bayard street
to Vermont street to be 10 inches in dia-
meter.
Baltimore street from north line of
!Pleasant street to center line of Pleas-
ant street, to be 12 inches in diameter.
Home Park Boulevard from manhole
at Fletcher avenue to west line of Flet-
cher avenue to be 18 inches in diameter.
Kingsley avenue from manhole at
Fletcher avenue to west line of Fletcher
avenue to be 12 inches in diameter.
Williston avenue from Dry Run sewer
to West Ninth street to be 12 inches in
diameter.

Glenwood street from Linden avenue ,
to the alley east of Beech street to be
10 inches in diameter.

Said sewers to be constructed of
standard vitrified sewer pipe or-aseiterate
Said sewer pipe to be laid
in conformity with the existing grades
where already established or grades to
be established by the city council of said
city. Manholes are to be placed along
said sewer as shown by the plans and
specification for said work. All of said
work to be done in accordance with the
plans and specifications therefor to be
prepared by the city engineer of said
city and filed in the office of the city
clerk of said city.
The cost of constructing said sewers
shall be paid when the work is completed
and accepted by the city council by
bonds issued to the contractor against
property abutting on such sewer in pro-!
portion to the number of lineal front 9'
feet of each parcel thereof, which bonds]
shall be accepted by the contractor in
full payment of said work.
The contractor is to be required to
give bond to the city of Waterloo, Iowa,
in the sum of one-third of the cost of
said sewers with approved surety or
sureties as a guaranty that he will prop-
erly construct and carry out said work
and faithfully perform all the terms
and conditions of his contract. Said
sewers are ordered upon motion of the
city council without netition therefor.
