Be it resolved by the city council of the city of Waterloo, Iowa:
That the work of the Bryant Asphalt Paving Coapany on their contract
of July 20th, 1916, for the vfork of constructing paving of Trinidad sheet
asphalt on five inch Portland cement concrete be,ee, on Falls avenue from
the W. : , v. & N. Ry. Co. tracks to Manhard street; Manhard ctreet from Falls
avenue to Beck avenue; Beck avenue from Manhard street to Duryea street;
Euryea street from Beck avenue to the C. R. I. & Pac. Ry, tracks and West
First street from Commercial street to Washington street except the tracks
of the Chicago Great Western Rtilway, in the city of Waterloo, Iowa, be and
the same ie hereby accepted.
Be it further resolved that the City Clerk be and he is hereby directed
to publish and post notices as required by law, that the 1-,1=Lt , schedule and
re,)ort have been filed by the city engineer, as required by law, showing
the cost of constructing said improvements on the streets as sht forth in
Baia contract showing the cost and expense to be assessed against each lot
or parcel of ground atuttiniz and adjacent to said described streets. Said
notice to be )ublished in the Waterloo Daily Courier and the Waterloo Times
Tribune .
