HomeMy WebLinkAbout4170-04.22.1918 # 70 Whereas , Martin Burke, Assistant Chief o:'' the Waterloo Fire Dcoartment , did, on the 29th day of March, 1918 , tender his resignation as said Assistant Chief, and `Jhereas , resignation was received , placed on file and accepted by the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, at a meeting of said council held on the 29th day of March, 1918 , and Whereas, The Fire Committee of the present City Council has induced the said Martin Burke to reconsider said resignation, and Wheeas, The said Martin Burke has consented to again J accept the 3osition of Assistant Chief of the Waterloo Fire Department, providing he is reinstated. Now, therefore , Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Waterloo , Iowa, , that dartin••Burke be , and he is hereby, re-appointed Assistant Chief of the °Jaterloo Fire Department , and that his rank in said department remain the same as though no resignation ©ropcceptance thereof had taken place. ,�/ •J / �' ' /t/r
