RESOLUTION NO. 4198

Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Waterloo , Iowa:
That the Chief of the Fire Department and the Chief of the Police
Department are hereby authorized to include in their pay rolls such
members of their respective departments as have not taken their
vacations, the amounts which said members would have received during
the fifteen days ( 15) allowed as vacation, and
Be it further resolved, that the Chief of the Fire Department is
hereby authorized to put into operation the double platoon system
on and after August, 1 , 1918, and
Be it further resolved, that the Chief of the Police Department
is hereby authorized to put all members of the Police Department on
an eight (8) hour day, on and after August 1, 1918.
