'9F, I: RESOLVED, by the City Council of Waterloo, Iowa, that the
contract dated September 26, 1917 and entered into by virtue
of Resolution No. 4093, passed August 28: 1917 by and between
the City of .,aterloo, Iowa, and Moore-Sieg Construction Com-
pany, for paving certain railway track crossings upon East
Mullen Avenue and other streets in said city, be and the same
is hereby cancelled, as to those crossings which have not al-
ready been completed under the terms of said contract, and the
said Moore-Zieg Construction Company is hereby released from
any further obligations to construct or pave any crossings
under said contract .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bond given and made a part of
said above described contract is hereby cancelled and released,
except so far as it applies' to the maintenance of the crossings
already paved under said contract as follows :
Illinois Central Crossing at East Mullen ,orenue
Crossing at Jest 4th and Bluff Street
CrOseing West llth & Bluff Streets,
and as to the liability under said bond for maintenance, such
liability as to any such crossings shall cease one year from
the acceptance of the ork by said city.
