Whereas It has been l earne d the City Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa. , that the property ni described as the South limmm
52 feet of Lot 6, Block 2 Zollinger's addition to the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, was erroneously assessed in 1917 at $l,?OO.00 when 700.00 would
have been a fair assessment on said property, and
Whereas , d.A.Town.sley, City Assessor, has filed with the County
Board of Supervisors a certificate to the effect that the valuation
of said above described property should have been placed at $?OO.00
in stead of P1,700.00, now therefor
Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Waterloo , Iowa,
that we recommend to the County Board of Supervisors the assessment
on the South 52 feet of Lot 6, Blook 2, Zollinger' s addition, be
reduced from $1,700.00 to 4700.00 . Be it ftrther
Resolved that the City at Clerk be , and he is hereby directed to
certify a copy of this resolution to the Auditor of Black Hawk County,
