Whereas, Many complaints heve been m de by ,•,)rospective con-
sumers of fms and electricity to the effect that the Citizens
Gas & Electric Company are making a charge for extending service
lines and. installing meters , emd
Whereas, Said charges are beinF: made in direct violation of
the franchise ordinances under which the said Citizens Gas &
Electric (Company is operating, ki-ow therefore
Be it resolved by the city council of the City of Etterloo ,
Ioea, That the Citizens Gas & Electric Company be , and said com-
pany is hereby, directed to immediately discontinue tYe making
of chergee for the service above referred to, and in t'le future
to adhere strictly to t}ie terms of the francises under which
they are operatiae. . .e it further
Resolved , That the Citizens Gas & Electric Company is here-
by . ordered and directed to make a refund to Persons from. .51110m
money has been received. in violation of its franchises. Be it

Resolved, That the city clerk bo , end. he is hereby, directed
to certify a copy of tele resolution to the said Citizens Gas &
Electric Company.
