Be it resolvea by the city council of the city of Waterloo , Iowa:
That whereas , the city council has this day ardered the construc-
tion of sewer along the following described streets in the city of
Waterloo , Iowa, by resolution No. liAilii
Beck avenue from the manhole at
Manhard, street to the center line of
Vaughan street to be 12 inches in dia-
meter. •

106.5 feet north of the manhole at

Be it further resolved that the City Clerk be and he is hereby
directed to advertise for bids and proposals for the doing of said
work in accordance with Section 813 of the Code. The date for
opening said bids and proposals to be on e_ ,

at 7:30 olclock P.M. That said improvements shall be paid for when
the work is completed and accepted by the city council by sewer
certificates issuad to the contractor against property abutting on
such sewers in proportion to the number of lineal front feet of each
Parcel thereof which sewer certificates ahall be accepted by the con-
tractor in full payment for said work . Said work is to be done in
accordarce with the plans and specifications therefor prepared by
the city engineer, approved by the city council and now on file in the
office of the city clerk.
