BE IT RESOLVE ' BY THE E CITY C OUN C IL OF THE CITY OF WATER-
LOO, IO'�or ON ITS 0 N MOT ION:
That it is deemed necessary and advisable to lay cement side-
walks along the hereinafter named streets and avenues in the City of
`:Waterloo, Iowa, for the length and for the width and from and between
the various points and termini as hereinafter set out :
A 5' sidewalk on the west side of Boston street extending
from the north line of Louise street to the south line of bale street .
A 5' sidewalk on the east side of Longfellow avenue extend-
ing from the north line of Kern street to the south line of Parker Et .
A. 5' sidewalk on the East side of Steele street extending
from the north line of Vine street to the south line of _ailroad Ave.
A 5'4" sidewalk on the east side of Columbia street extend-
ing from a point 33' south of the south line of 3ratnober t . to the
north line/of Crescent Place.
A 5' sidewalk on the north line of 64,14mer street extending
from the east line of Mobile street to the ,.Test line of leech street .
A 5' sidewalk on the vest side of Beech ::t reet extending
from the north line of Sumner street to the south line of . ebster St.
5' sidewalk on the south side of Cottage "t. extending
from the west lire of Beech street to the east line of Mobile street .
5'4" sidewalk on the east side of east 2ourth street ex-
tent ling from the north line of Lester street to a point approximate
ly 290 feet north of the north line of Lester t.
A 5'4" sidewalk on the north side of Bratnober street ex-
tending fr

alley east of Fairview avenue.

A 5' sidewalk on the east side of Lewis street extending from
the south side of Albany street to the north line of the street north
of the C .G.W.R.R. right of way.
A 5'4" sidewalk on the east side of Iowa street extending from
the second track southwest of the Illinois Central gain track to the
southeast right of way line of the I.C.:. .R.
A 5'4" sidewalk on the west side of Logan avenue , extending
from a point about 10' south of the south curb line of Center street ,
to a point about 50 ' south of the south curb line of Center street.
A 5' sidewalk on the south side of Conger street extending
from the east line of Burton avenue fo the west line of Avon avenue.
1s 5'4" sidewalk on the southeast side of Sunset Poad extend-
ing from a point approximately 421' southwest of the west corner of
Sunset toad ard of 2rospect Blvd to a point approximately 716' south-
west of said west corner of Sunset Road and :prospect Blvd .
A 5' sidewalk on the southwest side of Clough street ex-
tending from the southeast side of r'ourth street to the northwest line
of Sunset Road.
A 5'4" sidewalk on the northeast side of Hubbard avenue ex-
tend ing from the northwest line of Sunset Road to a point 140' south-
east of the southeast line of r'ourth street ; a3Lso a 5' walk on the
southwest side of Hubbard avenue extending from the southeast line
of r'ourth street to the northwest line of Sunset Road.
A 5'4" sidewalk on the south side of 1,illiston avenue ex-
tend ing from the east line of Kimball avenue to a point 120' east of
the east line of Kimball avenue.
A 5'4" sidewalk on the northwest line of r'ourth street ex-
tending from a point approximately 263' southwest of t :ram southwest
line of South street to a point approximately 302 ' southwest of the
southwest line of South street.

ing from the T-pest line of Drexel avenue to the west line of lot 3 ,

A 5'4" sidewalk on the east line of Linwood avenue extending
from the southwest line of Routh street to the north line of ":rant
avenue.
A 5'4" sidewalk on the southeast side of Third street ex-
tend ing from the southwest side ofVermont street to the northeast
line of the alley southwest of Vermont street .
A 5' sidewalk on the south side of Home Park Blvd.. extending
from a point 100' west of the west lin of Clough street to a point
150' west of the est of Clough street; also extending from a
point 200' west of the west line of Clough street to the east line of
Michigan avenue .
A 5' 4" sidewalk on the northwest side of L,ixth street, ex-
tending from the southwest line of Commercial street l 0 ' southwest;
ale extending from the southwest line of the alley southwest of
Jefferson street to the northwest track of the C .G.W.H. ..CO.
A 5' sidewalk on the north side of Hock Island aveue extend-
ing from the - est line of ``-'algate avenue to the east li:1e of magnolia
avenue .

5'4" sidewalk on the southwest side of ►outh street , ex-
tending from a point about 4 ' southeast of the southeast line of
Fourth street to a point about 16' southeast of the southeast line
of i'ourth street; also extending from a =point €��bout 34' southeast
of the southeast line of i+lourth street to a point about 127 ' south-
east of the southeast line of Fourth street.
A 5'4" sidewalk on the northwest side of Third street , ex-
tending from the northeast line of Locust street to the southwest line
of the alley northeast of Locust street .
A 5'4" sidewalk on the southeast side of Third street, ex-
tending from the southwest line of Vermont street about 140' suuth est.
A 5'4" :__idewaik on the southwest side of Vermont street ex-
tending from the southeast line of Third street to the northwest line
of the alley southeast of Third street.
A 5'4" sidewalk on the southeast side of Ninth street extend -
ing from the southwest line of south street about 120' southwest.
A 5'4" sidewalk on tile southwest side of Western avenue ex-
tending from the northwest line of Third street about 60' nortciwest.
A 5'4" sildewalk on the northwest side of Third street , extend-
ing from the northeast lice ofBaltimore street to the southwest line
of the alley northeast o t' Baltimore street .
A 5 '4" sidewalk on the southwest side of Baltimore street
extending from the north- es t line of Third street about 120' northwest .

properly reconstructed by property owners during; the summer of 1923
and u'o to t h_ date of adoption of this resolution.
.11 of said sidewalks are to be constructed in strict accor-
dance ith the plans and specifications therefor to be prepared by
the City wn,Tineer a d approved by the City Council. The costs and
egpen ses of making and constructing said sidewalks shal/be assessed
on the lots and parcels of land. in front of which the saw shall be
constructed .
The contractor shall be paid in special assessment certi-
ficates or improvement bonds or cash.

The above resolution was approved and ordered placed on
file for final action and notice of the pendency thereof or-
dered given this 27th day of August, 1923.
