ACCE22ING BID-Sidewalk Cont. :/07
Be it resolved, by the Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, that :
The bid
for the construction of sidewalks on kind along Sumner, Beech, and
various other streets in the City of Waterloo , Ima, filed with the
city ulerk in accordance with the terms of the published notice cal-
ling for proposals for the construction of said improvements be and
the same is hereby accepLed , the bid of said
being the lowest legal bid received .
Be it further resolved thtt the kayor and City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized, instructed and ordered to enter
into a contract in behalf ot lihe City of Waterloo , Iowa, for the
construction of said improvements with the said
but said contract shall not be binding upon said City until the same
has been duly approved by this Council.
Be it further resolved that all other bids for said im-
provements be and they are hereby rejected and the City Clerk is here-
by authorized and directed to return unto the persons filing the same
the certified checks accompanying such rejected bids .
Passed and adopted. this 10th da of oeptemoer, 1923 .
