WIEREAS this Council has accepted the proposal of
L,) Litj4-Vf7/J- to constiuct sidewalk on and
a ng Sumner and Beech streets and various other str ,ets in the
City of Waterloo, Iowa, the estimated total cost of said improve-
ment being the sum of $ ) ; and
WHEREAS under the provisions of Chapter 347 , .Lcts of the
38th General Assembly of the State of Iowa , it is necessary that
this Council shall fix the amount of the bond to be given for the
faithful performance of the contract to be executed for the con-
struction of said improvements ;
NOW THEREFORE, Be It Resolved by the City Council of
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, that the penal sum of the construction
