Park Road from the Illinois Central - 'ailroad tracks on
Utica Street to the 'jest line of Broadway Street, a width of 24 feet;
Broadway Street from theforth line of Park Road to the
South line of Center Street, a width of 40 feet;
Fletcher Avenue from the South line of Campbell Avenue
to the South line of . ingpard Avenue , a width of 30 feet;
Falls Avenue , a strip 7 feet in width on the Chicago Great
` estern Railroad right of way where old track has been torn up;
Baltimore Street from the R orthwest line of Second Street
to the Southeast line of Sullivan Street, a width of 24 feet;
'ichiga.n Avenue from the South line of Campbell Avenue
to the Korth line Columbia Circle, a width of 24 feet;
Columbia Circle from the East line of .ichig.an Avenue
to the yorth line of KKingbard, a width of 24 feet.
S`:,id improvement consisting of paving and laying of curb
and gutter as set out in Resolution of Necessity No . o379 , which is by
reference made a part hereof and constructed under a contract with the
Bryant P Tving Company of -;;ate-:loo , Iowa, dated the 4th day of June ,
1923 , has been completed and was on the 1 t& d a? of v-?, pr oved and
accepted by the City Council of said City, and
W1=EAS in accordance ..itn the order and direction of this
Council there have been prepared and placed on file in the office of the
City Clerk of said City a plat and schedule showing assessments proposed to
be made for the cost and expenses of said improvement against the property
abutting upon or adjacent to the same , ( and the railways and street rail-
ways whose tra'.,ck s, station ground or rights of way are located thereon,
abut thereon or are adjacent thereto) which plat and schedule have been
prepared in accordance with the provisions of section 821 of the Code of
Iowa; and
WHEREAS, the assessment shorn on said schedule seem to be
Proper assessments to be made for and on account of the cost and expenses
of said imaro v eme!it;

= TID EPOIE, BE IT RESOLVED BY Ti- COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk be and lie is hereby instructed to
give notice by two publications each in the Waterloo Evening Courier, and
the Waterloo Tribune , newspapers of general circulation published in said
city and by handbills posted in conspicuous placed along the line of said
improvement , that said plat and schedule are now on file in his office and
that within twenty days after the first publication of said notice ll ob-
jections thereto , or to the p :'ior --)roceed.ings , on account of errors, irregular-
ities, or inequalities , ust be made in writing and filed with the ;aid city
clerk.
That Council will meet after the expiration of said
twenty days and consider any objections which may be filed and after making
any correction found necessa_y, will then make the special assessments as
shown in said plat and schedule as corrected and approved.
