DIHCTING PUBLICATION uF NOTICE OF FILING OF PLAT

WHEREAS the improvement heretofor ordered on
Commercial Street from the northwest line of West Fourteenth Street
to the northwest line of Eighteenth street twenty-four feet wide, and
Commercial Street from the northwest line of wizhteenth street to the
east c irb line of LaPorte ,- oa:c eighteen feet wide , and LaPorte Toad
from the southwest curb line of Commercial street to the City limits
eighteen feet wide.
imball Avenue from the southeast line ofWet Fourth Street to the
north curb line of Mitchell Avenue twentyr-four feet wide and from
there to the City limits eighteen feet vAd.e.
Logan Avenue from the n rth line of the Waterloo, Cedar Falls Re
Northern Right of y at the end of the present paving on Logan Avenue
to the City limits twenty-four feet wide.
Parker Street from the east line of Burton Avenue to the west curb
line of Cedar Bend Street trenty-four feet w de and Cedar Bend Street
from the south curb line of Parker *treet to the City limits eighteen
feat vide.
Lafayette street from the end of the paving thereon to the City limits,
the end of the _present paving being about thirteen hundred feet north-
westerly from the City limits , said paving being eighteen feet wide.
Said improvement consisting of paving and laying of
curb and gutter as set out in Pesolution of Necessity No. d398, which
is by -reference made a part hereof and constructed under a contract wit",
the Bryant Paving Company of Waterloo, Iowa, dated the 30th d y of
June , 1923 , has been compp'_e ted and was )n the /nth day of Yt ar-i. approved
and accepted by the City Council of said City, and.
W HEPJAS in accordance with the order and direction of
this Council there have been prepared and placed on file in the office
of the City Clerk of Said City a plat and schedule shoving assessments
Tnroposed to be made for the cost and expenses of said improvement
aainst the property abutting upon or adjacent to the same , ( and the

which plat and shcedule have been prepared in €accordanci,wi.th
the provisions of Section 821 of the Code of IotT ,; and
WT" i_ SAS, the assessment shown on said schedule seem
to be proper assessments to be made for and on account of the cost and
exile n:'e s of said improvement ;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVET2 BY TEE COUNCIL OP TFE
CITY OF WAT RLO:` , IOWA, that the City Clerk be and he is hereby ir.!struct-
ed. to 2;ive notice by two Publications each in the Waterloo :Livening
Courier, and. the Waterloo Tribune, newspapers of eener91 circulation
published in said city and by h,,lnd bills posted in conspicuous places
along the line of said improvement , that said plat and schedule are
now on file in his office and that within twenty days after the first
publication of said notice all objections thereto, cr to the prior pro-
ceedings , on account of errors , irregularities , or inequalities, must
be made in writing and filed with the said city clerk.
That this Council will meet after the expiration of said
twenty days and consider any objections which may be filed end after
making any corrections found necessary, will then make the special assess-
ments as shown in said plat and. schedule Ps corrected and approved.
