entered into a contract with the Dearborn Construction Comoany for the
construction of certain sewers,
AND wl-HR:IA S theDearborn Construction Company has fully cpmpleted the
work in accordance with the terms of its contract , end the plans and speci-
fications therefore , and the work has been duly accepted by this Council as
fully complying with the terms, conditions and: re,tuirements of said con-
tract and said plans and specifications ,
21 :1) HEREAS a plat and schedule of the _prop rty benefited by said
improvements showing the lots and parcels of ground. subject to assessments

of Waterloo, Iowa:
8'' sewer on 3ertch Avenue extending from the center line of
Denver etreet to the center line of iii nball Avenue.
A 12" fewer on Kimball Avenue extending from the manhole on . ertch
Avenue to the center line of Mitchell Avenue.

sewer about 280 feet northwest of the manhole in West k:•econd Street , to the
sewer on Sullivan Street .
A 15 ' sewer on Baltimore Street extending from tee end of the sewer
which is about 180 feet south of the center line of Eureka : treet to tale
center line of Cornwall Avenue.
15" sewer on Prospect Blvd. extending from the manhole in Berkshire
Road to the city limits .
An 8'' sewer on Columbia f treet , extending from the manhole on Conger
Street to a point 20C feet north.
A 10 ' sewer on (lenwooa street extending from the center line of
Linden Avenue to a point 90 feet west of the west line ofteely btret.
which plat and schedule iere file& in the office of the City 01 erk on tee
lath ::_ay of November, 1923 ; Lend after the notice of the filing of said plat
and schedule nave been published and posted as required by law and the order
of this Council; and after a full co nsio eratioe, appralsersent and apportion-
ment of the special benefits conferred upon the respective lots and parcels
of real estate sho-Ln in and d escribed in said plat and shoed ule, by the
said improvements, this Council finds that each and every such lot or parcel
of real estate is specially Benefited by the said improvement in the amount
shown in said schedule and that said amounts are in proportion to the
special benefits conferred upon the oropert7:- bp- such im rovemen is and are
not in excess of such benefits and are not in excess of 2=5,0 of the actual
value of each such lot or Wit,-ia 7 of real estate shown in said. schedule .

3 17 ' .TR'rH R R ESOLV that the said schecule of asses ment s and
the accompanying plat be and the same are hereby approved ; and that
there be and hereby is assessed and levied as a special tax and assess-
ment against and upon each of the lots and parcels of real estate
described in said schedules, anc the owner or o ,vners thereof lia ale to
assessment for the cost and expenses ofs uch improvement , and against
the real estate and personal pr perty of railway and street railway
companies shown therein, the respective su:_is expressed in fi__u..res set
o- oosite to each of the same on account of the costs and expenses oZ' the
construction of said improvement; and the said assessment against the
lots , p oportion to the special benefits conferred upon the said property
by said improvement , and not in excess thereof and not in excess of 25
of tie actual value thereof, and that said special tax shall bear interest
from November 12th, 1923, at the rate of 6r=0 per annu.m payable on hay 1st
