MAKING ASSESSYIENT FOR WATER & SEWER CONNECTIONS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, did
notify certain property owners to make Underground Gas, eater, Sewer, Electric
and Heating Connections, and
WHEREAS, the property owners failed to comply with the orders of
the Council, as by law provided, and
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo , Iowa, under the direction of its
City Engineer has caused the said underground connections to be made, as
provided by law, and
Il a REAS, the City Engineer of said City has certified to this
Council a schedule of assessments showing the oast and expenses of the
making of said underground connections, said schedule of assessments show-
ing the assessments to be made for the cost and expenses of making, install-
ing and constructing said underground connections.
;/�r1" / BE IT ER--RESOLVED that the said schedule of assessments be
and the same is hereby approved; and that there be and hereby is assessed
and levied as a special tax and assessment against and upon each of the lots
and parcels of real estate described in said schedule, and the owners or
owner thereof liable to assessment for the cost and expenses of such improve-
ment, and against the real estate and personal property of railway and street
railway companies shown therein, if any, the respective sums expressed in
figures set opposite to each of the same on account of the costs and expenses
of the construction of said improvements, and that said special tax shall
bear interest from February 20th, 1924, at the rate of 6% per annum until
paid, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he is hereby
instructed to certify said schedule of assessments to the County Auditor of
Black Hawk County to be entered upon the tax lists to be collected as other
taxes, as provided by law and when collected to be credited to the Senora'
Fund of said City.
