RESOLUTION NO 5316.
PROVIDING FOR TEE LIGHTING OF THE STREETS, ALLEYS AND PUBL
IC
PLACES OF THE CITY OP WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK BOUNTY, STATE OF
IOWA.
BE IT RESOLVED , by the City Council of the city of
Waterloo in council assembled this 18th day of December,
1922, and it is hereby resolved by the authority of the lame -
THAT the offer of the Citizens Gas & Electric Company to
light the streets , alleys and public places df the city
of Waterloo for the term of five ( 5) years from the first
day of January, 1922 at the cost of Fifty-seven Dollars anc,
fifty cents ( ;57 .50) per light per annum for six hundred
candle power ( 600 C .p. ) lamps , Eighteen Dollars ( 18.t 0)
per light per annum for sixty candle power ( 60 C . p. ) and
Twenty-two Dollars ( 22.00) per lamp per annum for the one
hundred candle power ( 100 C .D. ) incandescent amps , all
according to the terms, concitions and specifications sub-
mitted to the Council prior to the passage of this resolu-
tion, be and the same is hereby accepted by the Mayor and
City Cour:Oil of the city of Waterloo and the entering into
a contract to that effect with the said Citizens Gas and
Electric Company is hereby ordered and authorized .
Adopted as a resol' tion of the City Council of the
city of Waterloo, this 18th day of December, A. D . 1922.
