RESOLUT ION ACCEPTING BID AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR PAVING.
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa:
That the bid of the Bryant Paving Company, of Waterloo
Iowa, for the construction of street improvements by construction
of paving and laying of curb and gutter on Park Road , Broadway
street , Fletcher Ave . , Falls Ave . , Baltimore Street, I\1 ichigan
Ave. , Columbia Circle , and the repaving reconstruction, tetreading
or resurfacing of Sycamore street, East Eleventh Street , Logan Avenue
West Fourth street , as set out in Resolution of Necessity No .5379 ,
w_ich resolution is by reference made a part hereof, filed with
the City Clerk in accordance with the terms of the published notice
calling for proposals for the construction of said improvements,
be and the same is hereby accepted , the bid of the said Bryant
raving Company being the lowest legal bid received .
Be it further resolved that the Mayor and the City Clerk
be an they are hereby authorized , instructed and ordered to enter
into a conjrract on behalf of the City of waterloo , Iowa, for the
construction of the said improvements, with the said Bryant Paving
Com ,any, but said contract shall not be binding upon said City
until the same has been duly approved by this Council.

Commencing at the ee end of the paving on Lafayette
street approximately 1300 feet Northwest of the sast line of
section 31, Twp. 89 North of Range 12 West of the

street to a point which ie at right angles to Lafayette street

beginning.
Said paving district being located in the Northeast
quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 31 and the Southeast
quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 30 ell in Twp. 89,
North, Range 12, West of the 5th P.M.
