Whereas , the City Council of the City of ;Waterloo, Iowa, did on the 14th day of May, 1923 , adopt a resolution ordering the permanent itpro ''e ennt of the following streets nd avenues and parts of streets and avenues in sair.°_ city, to-wit: Park :load from the Illinois Central _=Nailroac tracks on Utica Street to the West line o :' roadway street, a width of 24 feet. E r o a,d v rag Street from the N o rth line of Park 1.oad to the South line of Center Street , a width of 40 feet . Fletcher r Avenue from the South line of Campbell Avenue to the- South line of Kingbard Avenue , a width of 30 feet. %Walla Avenue , a strip 7 feet in width on the Chicago Great _Western ._ba :_lroad right of way where old track has been torn up. Baltimore Street from the northwest line of Second Street to the Southeast line of Sullivan Street, a width of 24 fett. Michigan Avenue frJm the South line of Campbell Avenue to the North line of Columbia Circle , a width of 24 feet. Columbia Circle from the Say t line of Michigan Avenue to the North line of Kingbard Avenue , a width of 24 feet. Sycamore Street from the Southeast line of Seventh Street to the Illinois Central Belt Line . East Eleventh Street from the Eleventh Street bridge to the Southwest line of Sycamore Street. Logan Avenue from the North line U sfalnut Street to the South line of Arryle Stre et. Os Logan Avenue from the North line of Dane Street to the Illinois Central '=aili=oad track right of way except new paving_ on Creek bridge. jest 'ourth Street from the Southwest line of W ellinr:ton Street to the Southwest line of Allen Street. by grading , curbing , paving or repaving the same; and Whereas , it is necessary and advisable that all underground connections in said streets and avenues and parts of street and avenues be made up to the curb line before such permanent improvements are installed, to the end that such improvements may be kept intact and unbroken : row therefore , be it resolved by the Council of the C. ty of t aterloo , Iowa, that the connections from gas, water, steam heatinc; pipes , sewer and underground electric connec- tions , to the curb line of the property adjacent to said proposed street improvements heretofore mentioned be made withh'l5 days from the adoption of this resolution , accord- ing to plans and specifications of the City : n€.ineer, now on file in the office of the City Clerk; and in case such connections are not made within such time by the property owners , then the said City Egsineer shall cause the se-ale to be rdaae , and the cost and expenses thereof shall be assessed against the plroerty in front of which they are made; and the City Clerk is hereby directed to give written notice hereof , as far as practicable , to all property owners affected hereby, and to publish such notice in one issue of the Waterloo Evenin.-_- Courier and the `aterloo Tribune , newspapers of general circu- lation published in tax said city.
