APPROVING CONTRACT, AND BCD .
Be it resolved by the City Council of the City
of t;,,'at erloo, Iowa:
That the cont ra.c t, of Bryant Paving Company of
7aterloo, Iowa for the construction of street improvements by
construction of paving anti laying of curb and gutter on Park Road ,
Broadway street , 1letcher avenue , Talls avenue, Bal. ti :yore street ,
4ichigan avenue, Columbia Circle , and the repavi , reconstruction
retreading or resurfacing of :sycamore street, ,ast Eleventh
street, Logan avenue, and 'nest j+'ourth street , as set out in Reso-
lution of Necessity No . 5379 , and signed on behalf of this city
by its iiayo r and Clerk as of the 4th day of June , lV123, together
with the accompanying bones for the faithful performance of said
contract , signed by the southern surety 3.o . , by Chas. lri. Young
as surety thereon, b e and the same are hereby approved, a dupli-
cate copy of said bond having been file in the office of the
Clerk of District Court of 31ack hawk County, Ioi a, as shown
by endorsement upon said contract, and the City Clerk is hereby
authorized and directed to return unto the said Bryant Pavin>r
Company of 'dat erl ;o , Iowa, the certified check filed by them
with their bid for constructing said improvement .
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City
of 'fiaterloo , Iowa , t fibs 13th day of June., 1923.
