RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING TO BE GIVEN ON APPLICATION OF FAMILY
VIDEO MOVIE CLUB, INC. TO REZONE
APPROXIMATELY 1.24 ACRES OF LAND LOCATED AT
3026-3032 ANSBOROUGH AVENUE FROM "C-1"
NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL DISTRICT TO "C -1,C -Z"
CONDITIONAL ZONING NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL
DISTRICT, AS JUNE 3, 2013, AT 5:30 P.M. IN
THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS IN CITY HALL AND
INSTRUCTING CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF
HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 3rd day of June, 2013, for
the purpose of considering and acting upon an application of
Family Video Movie Club, Inc. to rezone approximately 1.24 acres
of land located at 3026-3032 Ansborough Avenue from "C-1"
Neighborhood Commercial District to "C -1,C -Z" Conditional Zoning
Neighborhood Commercial District, and legally described as
follows:
That part of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast
Quarter of Section No. 33, Township No. 89 North, Range
No. 13 West of the Fifth Principal Meridian, Black Hawk
County Iowa, described as follows:
Beginning at a point which is 304.4 feet North and
63.10 feet West of the Southeast corner of said Section
33; thence NO2045120"E a distance of 85.16 feet to a
point which is 59.00 feet West of the East line of said
Section 33; thence N78000100"W a distance of 162.92
feet to a point which is 185.3 feet West (as measured
along a line which is parallel with the South line of
said Section 33) from the West line of existing
Ansborough Avenue and 420.6 feet North (as measured
along a line that is parallel with the East line of
said Section 33) from the South line of said Section
33, thence SO°00'00"W along a line which is parallel
with the East line of said Section 33 a distance of
116.20 feet; thence S88059'29"E along a line which is
parallel with the South line of said Section 33 a
distance of 155.29 feet to the point of beginning. The
East line of the Southeast 1-4 of said Section 33 is
assumed NO°00'00"E.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
Notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
