FAIL 1203.2.6-Exit signs. Emergency power shall be provided for exit signs as required in Section 1013.6.3.The
system shall be capable of powering the required load for a duration of not less than
90 minutes.

FAIL 603.6-Extension cords. Extension cords and flexible cordsshall not be a substitute for permanent wiring and
shall be listed and labeled in accordance with UL 817.Extension cords and flexible
cordsshall not be affixed to structures,extended through walls,ceilings or floors,or
under doors or floor coverings,nor shall such cords be subject to environmental
damage or physical impact.Extension cords shall be used only with portable
appliances. Extension cords marked for indoor use shall not be used outdoors.
Inspector:JEFF SIEBEL-Comments: Remove extension cords from decorative lights
on ceiling. Install permanent power with permits and inspections or Power strips with
a manual reset button plugged directly into a wall outlet and properly mounted may
be utilized. Lights are considered temporary and can only be installed for 90 days.
