STATUS CODE DESCRIPTION
FAI L 1031.3-Obstructions A means of egress shall be free from obstructions that would prevent its use,
including the accumulation of snow and ice.
Inspector:JEFF SIEBEL-Comments: Remove boxes etc.from exit path and in front of
rear exit door. Maintain clear path at all times.OPTION:Since building is a"B"
occupation and occupancy load is 31 a second exit is not required. Building Official
Greg Ahlhelm grants permission to remove and exit signs and properly blank off with
listed covers.However,you must still maintain a minimum of 36"clear path to and
around the electric panel room and panels.
FAIL 304.3.1 -Spontaneous Materials susceptible to spontaneous ignition,such as oily rags,shall be stored in a
ignition listed disposal container.Contents of such containers shall be removed and
disposed of daily.
Inspector:JEFF SIEBEL-Comments: Provide an approved listed oily waste container
with self closing lid for oily waste.OPTION:Submit a written corporation plar for
proper handling of oily waste material to prevent spontaneous combustion ,
FAI L 605.7-Appliances Electrical appliances and fixtures shall be tested and listed in published reports of
inspected electrical equipment by an approved agency and installed and maintained
in accordance with all instructions included as part of such listing.
Inspector:JEFF SIEBEL-Comments: provide documentation of dryer vent cleaning to
the outside of the building.
