FAIL 1031.2-Reliability Required exit accesses,exits and exit discharges shall be continuously maintained
free from obstructions or impediments to full instant use in the case of fire or other
emergency where the building area served by the means of egress is occupied.An
exit or exit passageway shall not be used for any purpose that interferes with a
means of egress.
Inspector:JEFF SIEBEL-Comments:remove obstruction(old cooler)from exit path to
back exit.
FAIL 604.2.5-Exit signs Emergency power shall be provided for exit signs as required in Section 1013.6.3.The
system shall be capable of powering the required load for a duration of not less than
90 minutes.
Inspector:JEFF SIEBEL-Comments:repair exit/egress sign above main door.
FAIL 605.1 -Abatement of Identified electrical hazards shall be abated.Identified hazardous electrical conditions
electrical hazards in permanent wiring shall be brought to the attention of the responsible code official.
Electrical wiring,devices,appliances and other equipment that is modified or
damaged and constitutes an electrical shock or fire hazard shall not be used.
Inspector:JEFF SIEBEL-Comments:A.obtain permit and inspection and properly
install light fixture in walk in cooler, hanging by wires without permit. Replace missing
moisture proof light cover. B. properly mount electrical box by new cooler by rear
exit.
FAIL 605.4.2-Power supply Relocatable power taps shall be directly connected to a permanently installed
receptacle.
Inspector:JEFF SIEBEL-Comments:power strips are daisy chained by lottery
machine. Each power strip must plug directly into wall outlet.
FAIL 605.7-Appliances Electrical appliances and fixtures shall be tested and listed in published reports of
inspected electrical equipment by an approved agency and installed and maintained
in accordance with all instructions included as part of such listing.

FAIL 703.1 -Maintenance The required fire-resistance rating of fire-resistance-rated construction,including,
but not limited to,walls,firestops,shaft enclosures,partitions,smoke barriers,
floors,fire-resistive coatings and sprayed fire-resistant materials applied to
structural members and fire-resistant joint systems,shall be maintained.Such
elements shall be visually inspected by the owner annually and properly repaired,
restored or replaced where damaged,altered, breached or penetrated. Records of
inspections and repairs shall be maintained.Where concealed,such elements shall
not be required to be visually inspected by the owner unless the concealed space is
accessible by the removal or movement of a panel,access door,ceiling tile or similar
movable entry to the space.Openings made therein for the passage of pipes,
electrical conduit,wires,ducts,air transfer openings and holes made for any reason
shall be protected with approved methods capable of resisting the passage of smoke
and fire.Openings through fire-resistance-rated assemblies shall be protected by
self-or automatic-closing doors of approved construction meeting the fire protection
requirements for the assembly.

FAIL 906.2-General requirements Portable fire extinguishers shall be selected,installed and maintained in accordance
with this section and NFPA 10. Exceptions: 1.The distance of travel to reach an
extinguisher shall not apply to the spectator seating portions of Group A-5
occupancies.2.Thirty-day inspections shall not be required and maintenance shall
be allowed to be once every 3 years for dry-chemical or halogenated agent portable
fire extinguishers that are supervised by a listed and approved electronic monitoring
device,provided that all of the following conditions are met:2.1. Electronic
monitoring shall confirm that extinguishers are properly positioned, properly
charged and unobstructed.2.2. Loss of power or circuit continuity to the electronic
monitoring device shall initiate a trouble signal.2.3.The extinguishers shall be
installed inside of a building or cabinet in a noncorrosive environment.2.4. Electronic
monitoring devices and supervisory circuits shall be tested every 3 years when
extinguisher maintenance is performed. 2.5.A written log of required hydrostatic
test dates for extinguishers shall be maintained by the owner to verify that
hydrostatic tests are conducted at the frequency required by NFPA 10.3. In Group 1-3,
portable fire extinguishers shall be permitted to be located at staff locations.
