RESOLUTION NO. 2013-439
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ESTIMATED
COST, ETC., IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE PURCHASE
OF EDGE NETWORK SWITCHES FOR THE CITY
TELEPHONE SYSTEM REPLACEMENT PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
heretofore instructed the Director of Technology of said City to
prepare proposed plans, specifications, form of contract, etc.,
for the Purchase of Edge Network Switches for the City Telephone
System Replacement Project, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, said Director of Technology did file said
preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., for
the Purchase of Edge Network Switches for the City Telephone
System Replacement Project, which were preliminarily approved by
Resolution No. 2013-390 on May 13, 2013, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on May 28,
2013.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that said proposed plans, specifications, form of
contract, etc., for the Purchase of Edge Network Switches for the
City Telephone System Replacement Project, in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, be, and the same are hereby, approved as filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 28th day of May, 2013.
