Storage shall be maintained 2 feet or more below the ceiling in nonsprinklered areas of buildings or not less than 18 inches below sprinkler head deflectors in sprinklered areas of buildings. *Storage in the maintenance room and housekeeping room by room 102 was found to be next to the ceiling. *Corrective action, lower storage in all areas of the building to below 2 feet below the ceiling. Exit signs shall be illuminated at all times. To ensure continued illumination for a duration of not less than 90 minutes in case of primary power loss,the sign illumination means shall be connected to an emergency power system provided from storage batteries, unit equipment or an on-site generator.The installation of the emergency power system shall be in accordance with Section 604. *Exit lights were found to be out when tested, both exit lights in the pool room,2 exit lights by room 114.
