See below 3 2015 IFC Fire and Smoke Protection Features Section 703 Fire-Resistance-Rated Construction 703.2.2 Hold-open devices and closers. Hold-open devices and automatic door closers,where provided, shall be maintained. During the period that such device is out of service for repairs, the door it operates shall remain in the closed position. *Fire door by 217 needs hold-open device placed back onto door, also floor is holding door open, door needs to be adjusted as to not be held open by the floor. 4 2015 IFC Fire Protection Systems Section 901 General 901.6 Inspection, testing and maintenance. Fire detection, alarm, and extinguishing systems, mechanical smoke exhaust systems, and smoke and heat vents shall be maintained in an operative condition at all times, and shall be replaced or repaired where defective. Nonrequired fire protection systems and equipment shall be inspected,tested and maintained or removed. *On 8-30-2018 Smoke detectors were not working properly or were missing from rooms,these rooms include: 323, 316, 312, 304,218, 214-missing, 117- missing, 111-missing, 105-missing. *Previously on inspections, smoke detectors found to be out were, 315, 313, 312, 311, 219, 218, 217, 215, 202, 210, 118, 115, 111 *Ensure that smoke detectors are present and in good working condition at all times. *Follow manufacturer's recommendations as to how long to keep smoke detectors in service and when to replace them.Typically it is recommended that smoke detectors are replaced at least every 10 years. Comments: All available doors and smoke detectors will be checked again upon re-inspection.
