2 2015 IFC Building Services and Systems Section 605 Electrical
Equipment,Wiring and Hazards
605.4.1 Power tap design. Relocatable power taps shall be of the
polarized or grounded type, equipped with overcurrent protection,
and shall be listed in accordance with UL 1363.
Remove electrical extension cord by TV. Install permanent outlet or
utilize a circuit protected power tap.

The force for pushing or pulling open interior swinging egress
doors, other than fire doors,shall not exceed 5 pounds. For other
swinging doors, as well as sliding and folding doors,the door latch
shall release when subjected to a 15 pound force.The door shall
be set in motion when subjected to a 30 pound force. The door
shall swing to a full-open position when subjected to a 15 pound
force.
Repair exit door from 2 to 3 year old class room to the outside.
Door must unlatch with less than 15#force and swing to full open.
4 2015 IFC Section 605.7 Electrical Appliances-provide verification
of dryer cleaning to the outside in accordance with manufacturer's
recommendations or regular schedule(ex. once a month)

605.3 Working space and clearance.A working space of not less
than 30 inches in width. 36 inches in depth and 78 inches in height
shall be provided in front of electrical service equipment.Where
the electrical service equipment is wider than 30 inches,the
working space shall be not less than the width of the equipment.
Storage of materials shall not be located within the designated
working space.
Remove obstructions to electrical panel. Maintain a minimum of 36"
clearance at all times.
Comments: Day care licensed for 60 children. Today there were 13 children. 2 children were
under the age of 2.5 years of age.2 to 3 year olds are kept in a classroom with a
direct exit.
