RESOLUTION NO. 2013-444
RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO
PRAIRIE CONSTRUCTION SERVICES, INC. OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $63,510.00,
AND APPROVING CONTRACT, BONDS AND CERTIFICATE
OF INSURANCE IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
REHABILITATION OF T -HANGAR "A" ROOFING AND
SIDING PROJECT AT THE WATERLOO REGIONAL
AIRPORT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the Contract, Bonds and Certificate of Insurance with
Prairie Construction Services, Inc. of Waterloo, Iowa, in the
amount of $63,510.00, in conjunction with the Rehabilitation of
T -Hangar "A" Roofing and Siding Project at the Waterloo Regional
Airport, described in the plans and specifications heretofore
adopted by this Council for said project in Resolution No. 2013-
347, after public hearing on May 6, 2013 on published notice
required by law, be and is hereby accepted, the same being the
lowest bid received for said work.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute
contract with the said contractor for the construction of said
improvements, said contract not to be binding on the City until
approved by this Council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 28th day of May, 2013.
