None of the exit signs functioned when the test button was pushed on the unit. Emergency egress lights in the retail area also did not function when tested. Corrective action: Provide repair/replacement as necessary to ensure units will function when test button is pressed. Ref# CODE Violation &Location Corrected 2 [Back Room Area]2015 IFC: Section 1031.2-Means of Egress Reliability: Exits shall be maintained free from obstructions or impediments to full instant use in the case of fire or other emergency...Broken down cardboard boxes were found to be stacked against the back room exit. Corrective action: remove any storage even temporary from in front of any exit doors. 3 [Back Room Area]2015 IFC: Section 1031.4- Exit signs: Exit signs shall be installed and maintained in accordance with Section 1013. The exit sign above the back room exit door did not function when test button was pressed. Corrective action: Provide repair/replacement as necessary to ensure unit will function when test button is pressed. 4 [Back Room Area]2015 IFC: Section 605.3-Working space and clearance:A working space of not less than 30 inches in width, 36 inches in depth shall be provided in front of electrical service equipment. Several electrical panels were found to have storage located in front of the panels. Corrective action: Remove or reduce storage in front of electrical panels to meet criteria as above. 5 [Back Room Area]2015 IFC: Section 605.1-Abatement of electrical hazards:A ceiling mounted fluorescent light fixture showed signs of malfunctioning previously. It may have a bad ballast within the fixture. Replace light fixture as soon as possible and discontinue use until replacement made. 6 [Back Room Mezzanine]2015 IFC: Section 605.3-Working space and clearance:A working space of not less than 30 inches in width, 36 inches in depth shall be provided in front of electrical service equipment. Several electrical panels were found to have storage located in front of the panels.
